# Fraud screening

#### Fraud Screening for Online Payments

Fraud screening helps reduce fraudulent online transactions. We offer two options:

- **Forter **— risk-based screening that helps detect suspicious activity and reduce chargebacks. They implement data collected overtime and have a large database to draw from.
- **3DS2 (3D Secure 2) **— an additional verification step for cardholders. Banks may prompt customers to authenticate during checkout (e.g. via their banking app or a one-time passcode).
